I have worked extensively with Rex. He has a profound and in-depth understanding of addiction. Not only has he himself been there, but his empathetic and insightful approach make him the ideal person to effectively interact with people facing such difficulties.
I have known Rex for the past 5 years. He has overcome some major obstacles and challenges in his own personal life and now has a keen desire to want to share these experiences with all those who are seeking his advice and help...
I've known Rex since 2013 and what always strikes me is his commitment to his own path of growth and self-mastery and his deep concern for those in recovery to move "beyond recovery", as he terms it, to a path of transformation. I highly recommend all his writings and work in this regard.
Rex has a real heart for helping others especially those who are going through what was his struggle for many years. He is a good listener and his gentle non- judgmental approach makes it easy to relate to him. He longs to share his tried and tested method for self-help from addiction with those keen to be free from it.
I have been running with Rex on the mountain for a few years. Rex has a wonderful positive attitude to life and connects well with people of all walks of life. He often brings in humour and teasing to bring a smile to a face and uplift people. He is very supportive but also asks questions that get you to challenge your own thinking and behaviour."
I am still finding difficulty in accommodating the Rex I know to be the Dr. Jekyll, with the Mr Hyde whom I came to know through the pages of your book. I just cannot find a hint of Mr Hyde in you – and that astounds me! It is nothing short of miraculous, that you display not a dot of evidence of the life you speak of. Physically and humanly, you fail to show me a single link. Except, of course, the venture you are so passionate about!
